GeoVault is an image data manager product from Leica Geosystems (LGGI). http://gis.leica-geosystems.com/Products/geovault/default.asp

We are in serious discussions with LGGI about becoming a Leica Geosystems center of excellence. This would include, among many other things, licenses and support for their software products.

An inquiry to LGGI asked:

We are working on an archive and data processing core capability for our own laboratory use for handling remote sensing and geographic data. It appears that Geovault is directed towards the same problem. We would like to understand more about it, such as, what kind of database(s) does it work with and ability to script or program functionality or support of some kind of programming. I don't know whether you intended Geovault to be a part of the CoE?, but we would like to know if it could be. There could be interesting crossovers with remote sensing image archiving and applications along with the real-time pipelining along the lines of our ADP system.

The response from Janis Macarthur was: GeoVault uses Oracle Standard Edition licenses including Locator tables. GeoVault is customizable in some ways, although the API is not yet productized or documented.
