LIAS Architecture Overview

The components to be built from the ground up are:

• LarchIndexer^?s which keep track of information used for efficient searching
• LarchCrawler^?s which wander through online data repositories to collect information for the LarchIndexer^?s
• LarchDataStorageUnit^?s which provide an interface for authenticated data storage when you need something a little less public than http
• LarchScroungers which help you seek out data and algorithms
• LarchPresenter^?s which displays thumbnails and full-data for items described by a LarchDataDescription
