MogileFS

Just ran across the MogileFS they use it over at LiveJournal. My initial reaction was "a filesystem written by LJ? Oh, swell." But, on reading it, it actually has some distinct similarity to the things we were discussing. -- BobKrzaczek - 23 Mar 2005

Their concepts for keyspace seem really relevant. It may also be useful to leverage their redundancy for keeping our search indexes. Or, maybe we can even leverage the file-redundancy concepts by banging them into object-redundancy concepts. I'll have to look into the details. -- PatrickStein - 24 Mar 2005
